Hello! I’m Tammie Ong, a resilient 19-year-old from the vibrant city of Singapore. My life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with multiple rare autoimmune disorders, leading to the shutdown of my digestive system and placing me in a constant battle with intestinal failure. This condition has also impacted my autonomic nervous system, presenting me with daily challenges.
Despite these formidable obstacles, I am determined to live my life to the fullest, embracing each moment with unwavering optimism. My journey has led me to share my story on various platforms, including a memorable talk at TEDxNTU in 2023. Through my experiences, I have actively engaged with different organizations, spearheading multiple fundraisers and raising over $27,000, all while navigating life’s challenges with the hope of defying all odds and surpassing the limitations imposed by my illness.
Inspired by my journey, I’ve decided to open this shop to share my artwork and creativity through products such as stickers, enamel pins, and bags. Through these trying times, I’ve come to realize many things, and I hope that by sharing these insights through art, I can inspire you to live life at your own pace. To live for yourself instead of conforming to societal expectations or the opinions of others.
